Ghenesis Mendez

 

Ghenesis Mendez  is a junior in the School of Foreign Service from the Bronx, New York majoring in Culture and Politics with a focus on race and its effects on immigration policy, and is obtaining a certificate in Women’s and Gender Studies. On campus, she is currently a student intern at the LGBTQ Resource Center and serves as treasurer for GU Riqueza Dominicana. Ghenesis has also been a participant and a peer leader of the pre-orientation program, Young Leaders in Education about Diversity (YLEAD). After Georgetown, Ghenesis plans to attend law school and focus on immigration and/or human rights.
